Anyone here into European bands Like Accept & Krokus ?
Hi
I have been collecting alot of my favourite albums on CD
Being a Big AC/DC fan Krokus is getting alot of play time
Scorpions Early 80's tones
Also Accept "Balls to the wall" album ...classic Old School
or True Metal as I call it tones
Can anyone recomend any other great Euro bands
of the late 70's early 80's ?

Just about anything from UFO...especially the live record, "strangers in the night". Michael Schenker really shines. Actually some of the UFO that feature Paul Chapman on guitar is very good, as well. He took over when Schenker went AWOL.
Another great record is "Slide it in"...Whitesnake { 1984 }.

Did you use the specs I gave you for that, or were additional tweaks needed to achieve it?Guitar Adjuster wrote:I built a 50 watt 2204 just to clone the "Accept" Balls to the Wall sound. Sounds killer!

I'm a huge fan of Irelands own, Mama's Boys. Pat McManus was an awesome guitarist. I have an autographed pic of the band, minus their drummer Tommy who died of Leukemia. I still listen to their albums.Necrovore wrote:Do a search of New Wave of British Heavy Metal, youll end up with a slew of bands to check out.
NWOBHM, is still awesome to me.
