Just about anything from UFO...especially the live record, "strangers in the night". Michael Schenker really shines. Actually some of the UFO that feature Paul Chapman on guitar is very good, as well. He took over when Schenker went AWOL.
Another great record is "Slide it in"...Whitesnake { 1984 }.

I thought Accept was a great kickass metal band at the time. We even play Balls to the wall with one of my bands. Check out my sig. Balls to the wall posted on my soundclick from a show we did in April.

I built a 50 watt 2204 just to clone the "Accept" Balls to the Wall sound. Sounds killer!

Yeah Allen, you just need to put a set of EMG 81's in that V you have and youll be all the way there. Yes his amp does clone that Balls to the Wall tone.

Hey Moderator maybe slide this thread over to the Off topic section.

Did you use the specs I gave you for that, or were additional tweaks needed to achieve it?

Larry
The fault almost always is sitting in front of the amp

I'm a huge fan of Irelands own, Mama's Boys. Pat McManus was an awesome guitarist. I have an autographed pic of the band, minus their drummer Tommy who died of Leukemia. I still listen to their albums.
NWOBHM, is still awesome to me.
