I see some Savage amps in the backline. I tried those at Tonefest- nice stuff. Hell of a nice guy who builds them too.

What's with the guitar dropping???

Check out Plexi Replicas for my personal amp builds...

Looks like he's very drunk here....

I think it's really sad seeing him like this. Man, the guy kicked every guitarist ass dusring the late seventies and now he just can't seem to get it together...

Maybe Eddie can do a Santana style album where he colaborates with a bunch of different people and styles. Maybe along the way he could find a fit, like he had in the past with Roth, but in a different genre. I would love to see Eddie inspired again. When he is, the music that comes out is
magical and unique. You recognize it as him immediately.

I agree with rockstah... probably had to do with Kenny Chesney. Dude sounded horrible and then walked off stage straight away. Not a good pairing IMHO

Kenny Chesney/Eddie Van Halen

Maybe Ed and Alex could rehearse with Eruption or the Atomic Punks,so he could relive the magic that was early Van Halen.
The whole thing sounds like a nightmare, was Ed using my Marshall HW on stage it sounded like!
Love and peace

IMO,This could be the reason why you have to give Dave Kudo's for his renlentless "give" to the music scene...
Looks like it took alot of ballz to perform this on Jay's Show.
He could of done "his" shit but he "Jumped" to this occasion.
He was surprizing; choosing a country finger picking bluegrass approach.
Sure, he didn't nail all the high notes but , man, he sure sounded like the Dave all the VHRoth fans know and love him for...

VanHagar is another Story..........ehhh, no comment... Like Sammy Though...!
RIP Mark Abrahamian-rockstah -classmate/roommate
RIP Ben Wise -StuntDouble- comrade-in-arms

I just happen to like Dave. I don't know the guy personally, but he is one of the guys I grew up looking up to in regards of how a rock star was supposed to act like. I also, just got done reading his book when this thread came out which is why I looked at that whole Bluegrass thing as tongue in cheek humor. Something tells me that he did it only to poke at the Brothers.
