EVH sighting at the Oscars

Post by funk49 » Mon Mar 06, 2006 4:39 pm

Ok, here it is and it ain't pretty. EVH at present. Somehow, I don't look as forward to a reunion with DLR as I used to. Not sure why...

Yes, truly sad. Someone quoted on another thread where this came from that people like EVH are NOT allowed to age publically, because they're always thought of as "from THE era".

To make up for posting this, I will post a nice shot here for everyone to juxtapose with the one above.

Check this link out as it talks about the Urei preamp that Bainzy posted about earlier.

From what I hear, the playing these days isn't even close. Out here at the LA show, he was drunk and basically just laid on the bar HARD during his solo, falling down at the end. It was supposedly very, very sloppy.

This really bums me out. He was a huge favorite of mine growing up, along with Lynch, DeMartini, Sykes and Rhoades, but at least Lynch, DM and Sykes are still ripping the shit up.

I do hear that when it was him, Lynch (Exciter) and Rhoades (Quiet Riot) tearing up the circuit, the one that all the local musicians were in awe of was Lynch...at least until VH1 came out and they became more popular. This was told to me by an original member of QR.

Boy that is sad. I feel for the guy, had the world in the palm of his hand (or fingers) for soo long then get caught up in booze, etc. only to see it fade away...hell sounds like a lifetime movie!

Aaaahhhh. I see it now. I guess you have to be logged on and I wasn't until I went to post a reply. Man, he is all torn up. Closing in on Kieth Richards.

Why is it we can remember where all the wires go, but can never find a pick?

Damn! Eddie looks bad! In comparison, I think that Keith Richards has aged quite gracefully....considering. Uh......does anyone have any recent pics of Valerie?
