Thank you everyone for the nice words about the clips and the playing! I was beaming after I read them :D . I am going to remix that over-verbed clip and mix some others too. I followed VHoholics effects recipe and it sounds much better now. I could use a little healthy criticism too, otherwise my head will swell.

The amp I used is a Laney AOR50H that I gutted and put my own board in. It's got a few tricks, but when I recorded these clips (they were all recorded at the same time) it was almost identical to the Roccaforte preamp that bmf5150 and Bow posted. I used a 412 loaded with Eminence GB12's on the top and Celestion V30's on the bottom, but only the GB12's were used. I miced it with a 57. I used my warmoth alder strat with a hardtail and Lawrence L500XL pickup (I am still trying to verify if this is an authentic Lawrence pickup ... bought it from Torres Engineering).
