Re: Diodes / Snubbers?
I have seen so many different versions on a theme and have gotten quite confused.
Could someone with a little more knowledge please tell me if this is correct or not? Or if it could be improved in any way???

Re: Diodes / Snubbers?
I'm looking at gut shots but it can be slightly tricky to follow the wiring. Is the above correct for 68/69 period? Whats the snubber value? I dont think its .22uf?

Re: Diodes / Snubbers?
The 68/69 version looks really interesting, I'd like to try this in the future.
For this build the more I look at it I'm really building more of a 70/71 amp. I had already staked the board for two snubbers and cutting it back could be risky. Plus I'd already cut a hole on top for the preamp filter and the switches I ordered are DP/DT.
Just need to know if I'm doing it right as in the first diagram. I've tried to figure it out but It's hard to be 100% sure from photographs, the only lay outs I've seen with snubbers is the 100watt and that's a slightly different rectifier set up. I've got no 50watt lay outs with 2 snubbers to reference.

Re: Diodes / Snubbers?
Anyone?
Connection 10 - 11 is that right? Snubbers to ground??
And is it from 16 - 17 or 16 - 19? Diodes to fuse carrier or diodes to mains filter??

Use this schem and apply to your layout:

Only take bias feed from hot side (PT HT) of the standby switch

Re: Diodes / Snubbers?
Thanks neikeel I think I've got it.
I need to go from diodes to filter can to fuse to O.T /choke.
