
Lost my Power Cord??

Lost my Power Cord??
Some one took my power cord to my 100wSLP..All the cords I have look much thinner than itand they fall out of the amps socket..where can I buy a new one and what gauge is it?

I assume you are referring to a standard IEC receptacle that most amps use these days. It is a standardized part and any power cord with that type of end should work. I usually just use old ones from computers and such. They don't need to be a very large gauge to run the amp properly. Most I see are in the 16-18awg range. Check out this page from Valvestorm. They sell both the bare cord and the cords with the IEC plug on the end.

You didn't mention how old your amp is. There was another type of connector called Bulgin that was used on the early SL. Most amps made these days use the IEC type though.
