I checked my pv wolf-I got up into the 130's once while it hit in the 119-120+ range more on average.
Strummin like a douche and measuring off the end of my main guitar lead this is what I got.
Kinda tough to get consistent here. I am betting an Ebow would be perfect with a nice analog meter for this purpose for sure.
I feel these tests really got to be standardized somehow. But neat how it gives you some guage to see what is goin on.
That custom sounds less hot by a wee bit and just might be my ticket as thats what I am lookin for to taylor my gain down a tad.

Were you using single Pickup, single volume wiring arrangement? I set my multi-meter to "max" that way it only reads out and holds the maximum ac output which takes the guesswork out of it.

Awesome. What kind of meter is it? I don't have that option on mine. With mine you gotta read fast :lol:

BK precision 390a. Nice unit for all but Capacitance which is really lame on the auto setting.
