are anyone aware of where one can get proper vintage style turretboards? (Kurt/Brian seems to have run out of brown boards)

Modulus amplification. You have to stake them yourself though (actually they sometimes have JTM45 boards in stock, but if you need a different layout/pattern you have to do it yourself).
