Re: Question about PTP boards on WIKI
Hey Ivan
The board layouts on the Forum Wiki are not meant as drilling templates - so, to answer your question: no, they won´t be the right size.
But you can use this: http://www.turretboard.org/?tag=super-lead" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
to get the hole spacing and board width right - again: these are not right size if printed out 1:1 (I tried myself), you still need to draw the board yourself with a design program. If you couldn´t find the exact board for the type of amp your want to build: for the length of the board, count the holes on the Wiki layout and use that together with the 0,375 inch hole spacing and layouts from turretboard.org
You can also order boards from valvestorm.com and other places.
If you want really authentic boards made of period correct material, contact this guy: http://kurtsequipment.com/reproboards/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and specify what you want. Many on the forum - including myself - prefer his boards to everything else out there.
Cheers

Thanks for the replies guys. I want it for an upcoming non stock build, mainly for the spacing. I have turrets & a turret setting tool, & was just going to use G10 fiberglass board but ended up ordering some of that nice board material from Brian Haberman, cut to the right width. Besides being pre drilled at the right spacing, it just looks so damn good. Brian's a really nice guy to deal with, I have one of his boards in the amp I built 6 or 7 months ago. I grabbed a few extra inches of it to use for relay boards etc this time. Cheers
