I was going to bid on it but the seller had not removed the speakers to check and see if the cones had any holes, rips, tears or previous repairs and one of the speakers he could not find a cone code on it. I didn't want to take chances / gamble with 1000.00 bucks like they do on storage wars without some assurance the speakers were OK.
Info from listing:
For Sale is a 1973 Marshall Speaker cabinet.
It has some scuffs and wear but for a cab that is almost 40 years old but it is very clean. I have owned it for the last 10 years where it served studio duty only
Speakers are 25w G12M 75hz Rola Celestion
Speaker codes
T1221 / AF10N
T1221 / AF12N
T1221 / AF12N
T1221 / AF12N
Cone codes
3 of the 4 speaker cones are marked 102 3 which make them original Pulsonics. The 4th has no markings on the cone that I can find but I did not remove the speaker and its difficult to see with it installed
Anyone on here buy this cab?

It wasn't me. I have one of those on top of a 72 straight cab in the demo room already.

Re: Anyone on here buy this cab?
I think I might know who sold this, I seem to recall he had another cab that looked like swiss cheese (holes in the baffle) I'll have a hunt.
Why do you want to know VK? if the cones were neat it'll hurt more
I've bought and sold a few pulsonics over the years and it really is a gamble, there's no better cone imo but I think that comes with the age ...and followed close behind is damp, loose spiders, blar, blar, blar, it's all a bit hit n' miss..
Tbh my best sounding one of the six I've got has two small glue repairs! don't ask me why but it's more responsive/edgy so in a sale shoot out this would be still on the shelf
I've got 2 rola '3' G12m's T1221's I can sell you if it helps in your quest
Here ya go, post number 9 for pics

@jape88:
I am more curious then anything on the condition of those speakers. The hole in the grill cloth had me concerned as to possible damage with at least the speaker located where the hole is.
I may be interested in the speakers you have and would like to see some pics and get some info on them. I will contact you via PM. Thanks!
