It'll need to be fairly robust and sound good in a Boogie thiele cab. I know... EVM-12L is the no brainer but I'd like to score something lighter and possibly cheaper.

Any ideas? My list of amps include a Boogie Mark V, a Friedman modded Jet City, and the '69 plexi I'm starting shortly.

A Celestion G12K100 or a Mesa Custom 90 come to mind as good alternatives to the EV.
