How much? and how do they sound? are they a George Lynch speaker?

Hey guys.....I worked directly with George on this speaker. His favorite speakers have been Greenbacks and then Fanes over the years. Most of his notable recordings were a blend of both. He liked having the clarity of the Fane sitting in the mix with the Greenback. Our goal, which he feels we nailed, was combining the two into one speaker. So basically it's a 50w GB with more clarity in the upper mids and top end, without being too bright. The speaker does use the 1777 cone...and more good news; it will retail near the price of a V30 or a RI GB (versus the more expensive Heritage line), so well within reach for most tone hounds. The first batch was built and has shipped to Randall. The next batch was built for dealers and should arrive soon. I'm anxious to hear your feedback! Cheers, Rick

I have a pair of Eminence Super V's.. that's right, the first Lynch speaker he endorsed which were supposedly built off fanes but are now discontinued because Lynch is a gear wh0re and constantly changing amps-pickups-pedals-speakers etc.. anyway, I have to say, those two Super V's with my RI greenbacks in a 4 x 12 brought that cab to life. Awesome.. I 'm currently looking for a replacement speaker for my JCM800 combo, I'd be really interested in one of these as well when they become available. Keep us posted.

Does it sound at all like an older G12-65?? I've always thought of the '65 as being similar to a GB with a tighter, punchier low end.

Hey guys....yes George does have a load of endorsement gear, etc., but we're Lynch fans and the guy can still tear the ass end out of a guitar. George and I have become friends over time and he's a helluva nice guy...which goes further in my book than playing because tone and style is all subjective. We hope to have them out in the market in the next month or so. I will keep you posted. Some may liken it to a 65 with more clarity because many associate a 65 with a greenback....again subjective because every rig sounds different, and every player can make the same rig sound different. We think it's going to be big success...tone-wise, we know it is. As mentioned, we'll keep ya posted!
