The tolex is messed up but i figured for what these things go new I can do it myself in one weekend. Its a 1960AX i paid $550 for it.

If that cab has the reissue greenbacks,then you didnt do bad, considering that those cabs arent stocked in Guitar Center (custom order only I think) and the 'NEW Metal' type kids dislike the 25 watt speakers because they 'sound good' :wink: .

Almost ANYWAY you go with trying to get a Marshall cab with greenies, you will end up spending alot. Like you may get a good deal on a cab with 75 watters (like $300) but by the time you get new or used greenbacks youve easily spent another $400, not including the shipping.

How old is the cabinet? What is the price in the states for a new one?
In germany is actually $887 shipping free (country inside).
I'm asking of the age cause the reissues all sound different. I have reissues from the 80'ies which I love for their sustain and harmonics.
