What I've been up to this evening...perfing and staking...
I wish I had a shitload of this old paxolin material. Looks great up close (chocolate brown) and with the old style split top turrets it makes for a real good looking board for the JTM 45 build.

I love building with that stuff, I have a small stash myself (maybe enough for another 6 boards) and made a 5w SE 6V6 amp with some of it. The good news is that even when it runs out, there are guys making repro board that looks spot on.

Beautiful. Obviously, I love the way old paxolin looks. My stuff is pretty darned close, though

Hey Brian,
I'll be knocking on your door so-to-speak when I run out of this great old stuff (that'll be sooner than I think).
Your reproduction boards are superb in and of themselves.
Nice that you chimed in.

Ordered a few parts from metro today that should about finish it up . (Although I still think I'm gonna hit Sparky up for a few more parts too

I wish I had a shitload of this old paxolin material. Looks great up close (chocolate brown) and with the old style split top turrets it makes for a real god looking board for the JTM 45 build.
This board is now getting a complete component install with all NOS mustards, NOS AB carbon comps, Lemco caps, BC caps.
It will be for sale on the forum this week coming.
Pics to follow soon.
