I have a terminal on my board that is in the wrong place. It is in the place of a screw hole and the hole it should be in is next to it. Any comments on what I should do about this?

You can drill out the turret where the mounting screw normally goes and then install a new turret in the hole where one should be. In a pinch, if I don't have the right turret, I've used a pop rivet, works just as good and you can only tell the difference from underneath. This is a common problem, and I've had it happen to me twice this month alone. Not very fun when your dressing a board, and you usually don't find out until your at your last component and find it's turret missing or in the wrong place. As soon as I can find or build a template I'm going to start building my own boards. It's hard to blame someone for missing a turret or putting it in the wrong place, because if you do enough of them your eyes start crossing and then mistakes happen. I've learned the hard way to keep extra pieces/parts on hand. Nearly everytime I order something there's some rinky dink part like a resistor or something that puts the brakes on my work. Again, I don't point fingers for trivial mistakes like that. There's just so many small pieces/parts in any amp that it's easy to overlook something. The best thing is get an inventory of parts that you might need in a pinch. I now keep about every resistor and cap you can think of on hand, just in case and it's not very expensive, $20.00 will get you most of the common values needed for an amp. Hope this helps.
