Difference between a vintage JMP 50 and a MKII?

Just wondering if there are any major differences in tone. I am looking at getting a 1976 JMP 50, but also curious about the MK amps.

A 76 will be a mark II (I have one of the last toggle switch 1987 amps H suffix).

They are a bit gainier and hairier than earlier similar metal panels, probably not quite so much clean headroom.

More NFB, different presence pot, slightly lower preamp voltages etc.
