Hakko for me. I use a flat tip, screw driver style. (High wattage... I work fast).
I used to use a damp sponge cleaner but I think it was Flames that said to try a metal sponge cleaner station. That's what I use now with no complaints.
No matter what you get, it has to be one with you, Danielson. :wink:
As long as you have a feel for what's in your hand you'll get the results your lookin' for...
On the other hand.
If your pumpin' out as much as VG, Flames and others of high calibur soldering , better get a NASA grade like the models previously posted.

Using a sponge kills tips. Metal wool all the way.
