That's OK, even Jimi played side to Little Richard!NitroLiq wrote:I still can't believe he's playing sideman with Mayer...DRH is such a wicked writer/player/singer on his own. I guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do to pay the rent.
I'm with you Andy, I tried to give him the benefit but I just don't care for Mayer. At least he's making a living off music (that's more than I can say for myself...)

I know.....it's not that the guy can't play either (despite being overly Hendrix/SRV derivative) but it's the package he chooses to wrap it in.......I guess he probably gets the little girlies in the sack and that's what matters, right?NY Chief wrote:I'm with you Andy, I tried to give him the benefit but I just don't care for Mayer. I understand maybe his song writing not to your taste but you dont like even when he rips one out on the guitar ? I dont know he has his moments. Kind of a funkster bluesy choppy guy. whatever. to each their own. i wouldnt run out and buy his album though ill say that. I respect his music though.NY Chief wrote:That's OK, even Jimi played side to Little Richard!NitroLiq wrote:I still can't believe he's playing sideman with Mayer...DRH is such a wicked writer/player/singer on his own.
