Recorded tonight.....

Should have it to send to you (not my recorder) mon. or tues.

Gotta few warts on it, but I'm still trying to get used to playing thru a Marshall.
All things considered I'm happy with the track.

Here's the specs:
'69 circuit w heyboer PT, OEI OT, Sozo caps, PPIMV w/ no presence.
V1: RFT, V2 & V3 JJs still, also still JJ E34L power tubes

Schecter Tempest w/Highorders

TS-5 Soundtank (level 10, tone 0, dist. 5)

PPIMV 5
bass 5
mids 4
treble 5
channel 1 vol on 8

thru Avatar 212 w/Eminence v30s

Recorded with: BOSS 1600 & MXL large diaphragm condenser (nice budget mic for recording)

BTW....,

FYI: first solo is an attempt to bring the 80s chops back up to snuff
while the second I used my coil tap and went a more bluesy route......

Also I did hold/sustain single notes past the cutoff points, as I thought they might be a nice option for layering while fading out from one solo to the next......
Let's get going, 'cause there's too much music, too little time!!!!

Seemed like enough guys had signed on that maybe we didn't need another clip......but the Super PA is done :D , so if I get a chance before you put it all together I'll do another take. I'm on vacation Labor Day week, so if it's not all wrapped up by then I should be able to find some time.

I'll start woodshedding more ideas in case I can pull another one out of the hat.

Once youve recorded a couple of the segments just send them to me and I'll insert them in the master track . remember I dont need the backing track just you segments... :D

Send them to St. August's email or post them someplace where he can grab them. Don't forget to post details of your recording/guitar setup.
