Speaker break-in with variac

Post by 19sixtynine » Fri Dec 28, 2012 10:01 pm

I was lookin 'round the forum and located the formula for spkr breakin.

but i'm a little confused by some of the info. for example- to break in ONE, 25w @ 16ohm speaker

requires about 11.5 volts.

but....please correct me if i'm wrong.... if i have a standard 4x12 cab to break in...do i use 100 watts
(4 spkrs) in the formula power rating? ...this would be around 23 volts??

you out there Mr. Jim Scumback? :)

Yup, I'm here. Send me an email, I'll send you the break in instructions. They don't format out right online.
