Hi guys! I'm planning on building a patchbox for my pedalboard (simple guitar to pedals/pedals to amp & FX loop send/return w/switchable in/out buffers) and I was wondering if I could use a standard XLR cable for the fx loop to save on space and cable? I could use Pin1 for ground and the other 2 for the send & return... Will it add noise to my setup since both cable are so close togheter???
Or maybe I'm better off with two separate 1/4 in cables?
Thanks!
XLR cable for fx loop?

Hi! Thanks for the answer but that's for a footswitch, I'm talking about an effect loop though. Thanks for the help thoughJimiJames wrote:Hello and welcome pardner.
