Well, like I said it could fetch a premium for being that old. Maybe with a '57 it's like the difference between a '61 SG and a '67 SG ($30k difference sometimes). You can see them get in the $10k range. And I'm certainly no appraiser, that's for sure. I just watch the prices. The rare models tend to fetch more than the 6120 single cut. But you can go get a '60's gretsch 6120 for $2,500 pretty consistently -- yes, just like a new one. In fact, I own a new one (double cut) and often see vintage ones from the '60's for the same price I paid.NY Chief wrote:Sell it to Setzer!
Really? A genuine '57 is only good for $2-3K? That's what a new one costs.
