68 shared cathode audio clip

Well I gotta say that the clips were ED, DIVER DOWN ED, not early ED, IMO. They sound great. These clips sounds to mushy on the bottom, lack the mojo sound and warmth of nice celestions, and an original 67 output trany.

in my unending quest for tone that pleases and titilates (somebody say EVH!), i took a chance on trying the ABSOLUTE stock 68 with shared cathode ... what say ye of these samples? i A/B'd it with VH II and it was not totally unlike it. but i know you guys have great ears and experience and i would enjoy hearing your critique of this setup.

Very nice! can you do another clip with the split .68uf arrangment, same micing, guitar, songs etc? I think that share cathode sounds very close to his tone.
