Pretty cool, they were building up the energy there. Ed's 'OLDER' influences are coming out alot on that. It reminded me of The Cream on 'Spoonful' off of Wheels Of Fire, only on steroids or something.

Yeah, and it's so obvious that they all hate eachother and the band is headed for another breakup. :)

That's exactly what I was gonna post. In fact, they didn't do this jam in March when they "liked" each other.

And, yeah, ain't missing MA at all. If you read the old interviews, Ed says Mike really doesn't contribute much in terms of writing, etc. He just goes along. One can see why it was fairly easy for Ed to have his son join in.

I'm just missing the cool voice Dave used to have but still I'm really digging VH 2012. I'd bet the farm that the reason for postponing the 2nd leg of the tour is for Dave to have some work done to his vocal chords.

Yeah, I love/ed Dave's voice on that old stuff. Such vibe, feel and attitude. I mean, he wasnt a 'serious' singer, like, you know, a Steve Perry or something, BUT, he could connect with people in a very primal way. Like when he says 'You got to Roll with the punches' on jump. That just sounded good and made you FEEL something. Dave used to do that ALL the time back in the day.

He STILL can pull off stuff (ADKOT) but not live it seems. Hell, he used to be able to pull off ANYTHING he did in the studio live (on a good night when he was 'trying') like in '79 he was nailing those falsetto "No GOOD" on 'Your No Good' for ex.

Back to topic though, yeah, they look like they were having some fun. They jammed a couple times in Charlotte like that on 4/25/12.
