At least he dropped the Peavey amps and went back to Marshalls; I saw him at a small theatre on the Surfing With The Alien Tour, then years later at the Beaumont Club in Kansas City, then years later at the same small theatre again with Eric Johnson. Great playing, but I wanted to leave after a while too. It sort of got redundant after a bit. I stayed because my daughter wanted to. Got a great picture of Eric Johnson by holding my Kodak digital camera up to my binoculars (nosebleed seats)...
