Hi guys!
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right section but I'd like to know what you think of the SoZo Royal '67 caps. Are they really a big upgrade from the stock caps that George used to sell with his 100W plexi kit?
I may be interested in getting those but at 20$ a piece and since I need 6 in my build, that's an expensive upgrade... Is it worth it or not?
Thanks!

I can't honestly say "x" about the tone, before and oafter is hard to gauge on this sort of thing, mayne my old caps were bad etc...although IMO it was a step up, but part of what you are buying is quality and longevity. They are marketed as well made caps that will last a long time. I'm drinking the kool-aid.

You can buy a set of mustards for less than 20$ a piece. I know they sound good!

Hi Joshabr1, the Sozo Royal 67 was a 100uf/350volt electrolytic, not a signal cap. I don't think its been available from sozo for a while. In case anyone would like to obtain this cap I'll share wot I read on the Hoffman Amplifiers Forum in the "Sozo electrolytics" thread. Royal 67, scourced,,, EIA code 658 = (Sangamo) CDE ST101V360J042 photoflash cap, cf. The thread goes on with some saying the cap isn't suitable for the application & some arguing that it is. Oh, BTW Joshabr1, check the date of the post before yours. Cheers
