New 69 Super Lead build in studio

Hi guys. Here is my 69 Super lead clone build in action. My brother and his band are recording their first album and everyone is so amazed with the amp. It has Marstran OT and Magnetic Components PT and choke. All Brimar ecc83 in preamp section. The sonic output was so good that they used it exclusively for everything from shimmering cleans to huge overdrive.

I couldn't take photos of inside as I've lost my camera. I couldnt even test and bias the amplifier because the recording sessions were starting and I didnt have a cabinet, so I sent the amp to a tech around the studio. There were a few issues like there was unnecesarry solder in preamp slots that he couldnt place ecc83s properly. Also the buss wire in pots was a bit loose that he had to use a more powerfull heat to stick them on the pots again. After all the amp is working just fine now.

Thanks to everyone on this forum as I've gained lots of information on amp building as a hobbiest. I have to tell that it was also a real challenge to do all those solderings, doing some drill work, twisting heaters etc. But in the end having built on my own is something really special. I sit there on front and thinker how I finished the hell thing

It looks great - would be a real treat if you could also do some sound recordings. I´d really like to hear what it sounds like since I´m building a 69 too.

Hi. We are still in the recording process of the album and later on they will begin mixing and mastering the album. I dont know how long it will take to publish the songs online. But I will let you know for sure. The amp really sounds incredible and so responsive. They all loved it.
