Hey guys.
I am working on a 15 watt ac30 build. I am stuck right now at the rectifier because I was planning on running a gz34, but soon discovered that ac15 power transformers don't have a 5v tap. I don't really want to use an ez81, though I might have to, and have instead purchased a 6BY5g rectifier. I am now struggling to see how to wire the thing up with just one set of 6.3v taps on my power transformer.

it works just like using two diodes...
just tie pins 2 & 8 together for B+ into a capacitor (hopefully not more than 32uF)
