I don't know if this is kosher, but I have been wanting to make a 50Watt Marshall and need to get a good chassis and transformers

Marstran makes some of the best in this regards and is willing to make a batch of chassis for 50Watt; some with a treble pot, some without, if he can get enough people (10) to sign up on his forum:

I really want to get started on this project since I already have the cab on its way, and so I want people to go over there and sign up . . .

haven't you always wanted to build a 50Watt Marshall with a good foundation/chassis?!

These will be 4 holers with 8 controls in a line, like a trem model. In the one thread there is talk of two versions for laydown or standup PT.

Question about PTP boards on WIKI

Post by ivan H » Thu Jan 24, 2013 10:20 pm

Hi, I'd been looking for a chassis like this for a few months, so was stoked to hear about Brian having this on the drawing board. Got 1 of his Dagnall Clone OT's on the way for, sozo's & various other components coming from Valve Storm. Brian should have the 1202-118 PT's back in stock shortly so by the time the chassis's are ready I should have all other components together for a #39 type build. I really like Tim Caswells idea of keeping the Marshall's basic tonality, just with that extra high end gain & sustain. Cant wait. This chassis would also be perfect for a stock 50 watt with Larry's parallel loop build. Cheers
