Guys
I wanted to share small video and some info about my built. I bought the 50W kit in January and did the standard 1987, it was exellent but I wanted more so I converted it to 2204 and used SDM's layout. That was also excellent and I added a few mods like PPIMV, 3 in one cathode switch, switcable tone stack, resonance mod. I was alwas wery interested in a layout a saw at SDM's website, 2203 Extra Stage Mod and I was also wery interested in TL2550X layout wich showed relay switching between channels. So I combined the two and added extra tube switchable by relay and had great help and guidance from Steve, what a guy...sharing his knowledge to the newbies like there is no tomorrow.
This is the videoclip on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uno3zb8LF0, it's recored with my mobile phone, Nokia N95 8GB so the sound quality isn´t great, at very low volume to keep the neighbours happy. Can't wait for a proper blasting.

It's the same relay as SDM uses in TL2550X, Omron G5A-234P-DC5
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... A-234P-DC5, the relay socket to use is Milli Max 14 pin
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... 575-293314.
These items are not available in Iceland so I had to buy simlar, NEC relay and another 14 pin relay socket with shorter pins, remove the extra unused pins - harder to connect. Therefor I didn't mount the relay straight to the metro board but on a separate board ontop of metro. Drilled a hole to route the wires through and a simple stand of bolt to fasten the extra board holding the relay. See the picture, sorry it's not better, it's from my phone.
