jtm45 squeal

i get a squeal on vol 1 input 1 when vol goes past 7

i removed 100 pf from vol 1 pot because amp was too bright

this is a jtm45 built with jtm45 upgrade kit heyborer transformers
mm 3.3 choke sound great except for squeal

has any body seen this before ????

There are a few ways to get one to squeal. The one I ran into when I re-did my '78 2204 as a 1987 was that I ran the purple wire to the presence pot too close to the other tone controls' wiring, it needs to tuck under the board away from the other tone control wires.

i moved the presance wire and now no sqeal
