I was just talking about a different problem. I should have said OFF-TOPIC rather than OT.
When I said balancing the PI I didn't mean doing it with the master volume resistors... just mentioning what I was going to try next, since I've read about it in other posts. I you can check the other thread and chime in it would be great 'cause I'm not sure I gave all the necessary info to get helped, I'm just an amateur at electronics... you can skip the first page since it was all about voltage checking...

Seems to me you've made the safety resistors well...useless.

Hi

I found another pot with matched halves (5k apart) and I'm using 2x 2.2M resistors. So I guess I'm protected now.
I also grounded the shielded cable instead of connecting it to the bias supply.
