Controling the beast

Post by Giablo » Sat Dec 15, 2012 5:32 am

Question to all;

I'm using my 100 watt '68 style plexi in a way that both channels are high treble.
Split cathode.
My wish would be to have the first one set as a cleanisch channel and the second one allmost dimed but not to much of a vloume diffirence.
Thing is, there's a great volume diffirence appearing which is not useble in my band.
let's say channel one is 11 o'clock and the second preamp volume runs on 15:00.
this way i like the sound and structure the best.
i'm switching them with a whirlwind a/b-y pedal and basicly it works out except for the volume thing...

now, is it possible to add something like an extra volume pot on the second channel to bring the volume's a bit more even?
Hope y'all can help me out on this a bit.. thanx allready. :worthy:

Maybe a switchable mastervolume on channel two?
Switch in/out
