In first time of course the OT, PT, choke ? what's the right model C1998 ? 1203-80ML ?
Someone had tested Marstran VS Heyboer transformers and chassis ?

Do a search and decide what would be best for you. Lots of talk about trannys in here.

Basicly it's all about the holy three - Marstran, Me rr en and Heyboer. I only have had Heyboer trannys and like them very much. Some say the other two are even better. Use search and see for yourself.

Ok - quick summary

Metro 12 series steel chassis
Valvestorm pick list for 10 series
Marstran 1202-119 or -132OT
Marstran or ****** 1203-80 PT
Marstran or ****** or Merc Mag or Mag corp 3H choke

For icing on cake get the valvestorm old style pot knobs (scott) and JMP or Black Flag logo.
In the US I used to suggest Mojo (need to spec Metro spec for flat lip cab)
In Europe Chris Huff in Norfolk is the man to make a cab.

I have tested Metro spec Heyboers, Marstran spec Heyboers, Merrens and have a number of originals too
