This is the documentation of my building a DIY Tiny (Holy) Terror. Someone said I should name it the Dirty Terror since my Nickname is Dirtbagg so there you go.
I am starting with Mercury Magnietics Holy Terror upgrade kit for the transformers. The chassis I built my self. It was originally going to be for a 18 watt build and changed my mind. I shorten it hence the bid square hole which was going to be for the 18 watt transformer.
The Mercury Kit was great with a schematic of the Tiny Terror and lots of photos which helped me in designing the turret board layout.
The below pictures are of the chassis before and right after the transformers were mounted. I am also using Metro Amps instructions for building their 50 watt Plexi, which they don't sell any more. However these are GREAT instructions so I am using them to build my amp.

Bending the Chassis, my dad does sheet metal for aircraft and showed how to use his metal brake.
sadly he has moved his stuff to Arizona so not I would have to buy my own brake or use a vice for small stuff.

Re: Dirty / Tiny Terror Build
I finally finished my build
However, when I powered it up, and go off stand by, I get a hum. I was playing an MP3 player through it. I could hear it faintly but not that loud.
Help is there anything I can look for to fix this problem.
Help, I know it is something easy, I hope.
below is a link for the schematic I used.

Re: Dirty / Tiny Terror Build
WOOHOO, I finally finished my amp and it works. I'll post some clips later this week, but here are a couple of finished photos minus the cabinet I still need to build and should have done by the end of the month.
