Great prices for board material (UK shop)

I've been looking for a cheap supply of Tufnol Kite sheet (phenolic paper laminate) from within the UK so I can build a ptp board. I found an online shop with very low prices so I though I'd share this find! If you're in the UK, or EU in general, check out http://www.plasticstockist.com/. A board sized for 8x33 holes costs 1 GBP (no, I have not missed any zero's!). The minimum order is 10 GBP so I ordered 8 boards of various sizes. The drawback is the drilling that I'll have to do, but at these prices I really cannot complain!

Here's a picture of the Tufnol Kite material with a nice brown colour.

Would love to see pics when you get it, of course! Just make sure of its electrical specs before you use it.

It has now been two/three weeks that I received the material, but my digital camera broke so can't take any pictures at the moment.

One thing I did learn though is for next time to order bigger size than needed as boards arrived to me with a +/-3mm tolerance on the length and width dimensions.

The colour looks good though, and the boards are of electrical grade so I'll post some pictures when I get a new camera.

if a big enough order was put in, or enough interest shown, I'm sure they'd be able to machine sheets of that stuff in standard sizes for plexi PTP boards with the holes already drilled by CNC. worth thinking about.

I enquired about this from that company but, they said that they could not do this. I emailed other companies that can supply the material and do CNC machining, but the prices I got were in the order of 80 to 90 GBP. I don't need any machining at the moment, but when I have more time, I'll see if there are any local workshops that have CNC's and can do this cheaply if I supply them with the material.

I just orderd 2 1220x1220x3 sheets of the Kite Brand sheet and Tufnol Grade 1P/13

I cancelled my order, they were charging my 141.90 dollars for shipping. I wounder if someone could pick it up for me and then ship it? Might be cheaper.

Just received my order of 3 1/8" x 24" boards. I have the kite and IP13 and ordered extra if some are interested in picking some up from me.
