100 Watt MV missing components.

Post by comingapart » Sat May 24, 2008 8:25 pm

I didn't receive enough 2 watt 10K resistors in my kit.

Thats not the real problem though. On the documents on the CD, on the illustrated diagrams it show only 1 10k to the left of the bias pot. On the actual pictures, there are two 10k's, or on another layout, 1 10k and 1 8.2k

I'm assuming there should be 2?

What are the correct values for a late 70's 2203. What are the purpose/specs of those resistors so i know what to look for in replacements?

Thanks.

Typically two 10K resistors in a 2203 of that era and that spot (left of bias pot), they are in series there. They serve to drop voltages to the PI and preamp and decouple the filtering stages from each other. 2 watt metal oxide types would be my suggestion.

Ok, got the board finished and the old PCB removed from the amp.

Can anyone provide a picture or diagram of the connections on the underside of the board?
