Post by darrell » Fri Jun 01, 2007 2:58 pm

My mercury magnetics out put tranny came in and I have almost finished my board but i have one quistion ??
Insted of using the 16 uF atom can i just use another 10K resistor or something else? What would the trade off be also..The Vitamen Q caps where somthing i had so I thought they would be a good upgrade
Thanks

You can't just stick a 10K in there without arranging for other filtering, and rearranging your jumpers under the board to accomodate the changes. Even going with a dual cap on the board with an extra 10K would require some jumper changes.
