I plan on installing the .22uf caps at the end of the board (not pictured in diagram). Here are my questions.
1. The red wire coming from the lower right filter cap labeled "A" does not exist in my amp nor does the step by step mention anything about it. Do I need that wire there? Is it there in case I want to install the two .22uf caps I mentioned?

2. Is the turret labeled "B" supposed to be connected to anything else or is it just a connecting point for those three wires?

Yeah, you only need that wire if you install the .22uF caps. Otherwise it serves no purpose.
