Curious about the Power supply

hey guys, ive seen on a couple peoples kits, that they have an american plug on them, and was wondering how kit builders in the UK have dealt with this problem?

Do you use one of those US-UK adaptors people use when the go on holidays to plug the hairdryer in???

Easy: fit a UK plug and use the 240V tap on the mains transformer. 8)
