Carbon comp vs Carbon film

Post by Mars Hall » Tue Apr 29, 2008 6:00 pm

Does anyone have opinions on what's the difference? Has anyone put a metro board together with carbon comp? My next project is a Metro PTP board for my BBRI. I have a metro PTP board, in my JTM45 RI, with carbon film and like it. Some guys swear by carbon comp. If there's a thread on this already someone please direct me

I am building an Offset so to make it that much more authentic and to make it more different than my other 45s I am going with the Carbon Comps. Hope they sound good.

Have a look at this thread...

Overall CC's are good in the positions recommended by George M...other positions stick to CF's.

Cole, Awesome thread and thanks for your experiment. I'm gonna leave well enough alone and stick with the standard carbon film available in the kit.
