ptp in jcm 800 worked at first but now probs ???

The way you have it is reversed. The hi is on the bottum. That would be a problem but you also have the jack functions switched. You have the components that should be on the tips on the switches and vice versa. You can have them pointing any way you want as long as their wired up correctly which is just easier facing the "normal" direction. On a cliff type jack, when veiwing from the top and from the input side, the top left lug is the tip, the top right is the tip switch, the bottum left is the sleeve and the bottum right is the sleeve switch.

i didnt know these were switched in that way.

i rewired them pointing away from pots...................
