Need Suggestions for a Vintage Look PTP Board
I am planning to eventually replace the PTP board in my JMP 50 (split cath) and need some suggestions.
I want to use a Vintage looking perforated board, and multi-level split turrets . .
But I am unclear on the following:
Which perforated board I should get red/brown and the exact type.
Should I wire cross turret connects under or above.
Should I wire primary wire connections above of under the board.
Also any advice for soucing would be great, I have heard George will do custom boards ?
Thanks
Chuck

Yup, Ray's stuff is top notch. He uses the RS type spilt turrets and perforated red swirl like the stuff George now uses. I have a JTM 45 board, a 5F1 champ board, a JTM100 board and a set of Hiwatt boards coming from him.bluze81 wrote:Ray Domalski makes great boards with split turrets and perferrated, look identical to the orig,[IMO] very high quality, reach him thru the Marstran website, as you know many examples pictures of 1960s Marshalls on the site, great reference for building clones, bluze81

I got his e-mail address from Brian Wallace's site and went from there.
Oops...sorry, you said when, not where... Rays been pretty busy lately and has been trying to rectify some QC issues with turrets, which has prolonged the turn over time. It'll come soon enough and is certainly worth the wait.

Received my board from Ray Domzalski yesterday for my Plexi 50watt build. This board is a flawless work of art. There is not a single splinter in any of the drilled holes. It has vintage split turrets and was done to match the layout that George uses in his Plexi 50watt kits . Ray is a nice guy and does outstanding work!! Here is a picture of the board
