I'm curious what topics you guys are interested in digging into?

I feel like a lot of the main topics related to everything evh have been pretty well fleshed out. The following come to mind.

1. amp - transformers, circuit, caps, resistors ect...
2. cab - greenbacks vs. blackback speakers
3. guitar wood
4. pickups - magnets, seymour duncan, mighty mite, dimarzio
5. bridges - floyd vs. vintage fender trem
6. ibanez destroyer
7. echoplex
8. variac / 2 variacs
9. univox ec80a
10. pedals - mxr, boss ge10
11. set up - placement / order
12. other guitar hardware (probably not that significant)
13. ?

Over the last 7 years I have gone down a worm with virtually all of the topics. Checking online, staring at pictures, mulling over perceived vs. differences in clips...

What is it that can be learned with in reason?

I think 13. ? is technique. Metro and Friedman offer some of the baddest rigs in town. Anybody can buy one who has a little coin. But making that gear sound good is a whole different thing. I love reading about the gear as much as the next Ed fanboy. But nobody cares what brand of tubes are in my 12 series if I am blazing through I'm the One and it is sounding like a Guitar Hero Iso Track.
