Love it... here's a quick clip I made with it. In listening back, it seems I need to dial out some bass...

Damn that's an awesome sounding amp. Out of my price range for the moment. Nice chops my friend.

Fantastic playing, the tone is pretty close to VH. As close as you sound (and you sound great) your clip reminds me of just how tough it is to cover him. He plays with a swagger that is next to impossible to cover. I have a Friedman modded Marshall, Friedman's stuff just kills. Did you put the phaser in the loop?

The upper high notes seem to separate very nicely.

I can't wait to see the gut shots! :P

Very nice! What speakers are you using?

BTW, try these settings...

Pres - 4
Bass - 3
Mid - 8
Treb- 7
Pre - 10

Dave gave those settings for the EVH tone!

BTW, the key for me is keeping that bass rolled off a little bit.

I'll try those settings, thanks! That cab is loaded with 6402 greenbacks. Love it.

Nobody seems to talk much about Diver Down, but I love the tones on that album too. In fact, I like most of Ed's tones up through 5150.

Anyway... I took a shot at the solo section from Hang 'em High today....

Cool man! Did you try those settings? Have you had a chance to really crank the amp yet? Just wait till you do! LOL The hair on my arms are standing up just thinking about it.

I did, but those settings were a little dark at the volume I recorded that at. Haven't had a chance to really crank it yet, though. I did those videos in the middle of the night and the vol was about as loud as an average TV set.... maybe just a hair louder. Gotta try not to piss the neighbors off at 2am.
