Interesting on the one tube socket labeled gain-must be the spot to pay attention to placing a selected premium pre tube??
Like the PowerCon pedal board power supply connector. Good idea.
Eds gotten some new HH's with LED graphs instead of the old ones he had with the original needle meters.

But hey. I HAVE TO SUGGEST GETTIN SOME NEW HEAD AND RACK CASES. I mean jeez.... not like you can't afford it you know????. These are the same dirty ass carpet covered pube racks and head cases you had back in 1986. Probably smell worse than bigfoots dick

Very interesting, I also noticed that his master volumes are WAY down from earlier. Now right over the point where the amps come alive, but not 2 O'clock loud as before.
And WTH is that bridge on that Wolfgang?

"Drop to Hell" bridge.

For a while now ive been noticing something was up around the area of the bridge pickup on the Stealth
Image
But it looks like its electrical tape that's wrapped around it. :what:

EDIT: Aha! found the explanation: It's to prevent catching the high E string under the pup.

Only difference between his amp settings and mine are the mid knob are mirror opposite-mine are at 2-2:30. My clean channel has its gain set up much higher on channel 1 at about 1-2:00 too.Thats the only differences. I figure he's got tons of drive and mids with that honky wolf pickup vs my mid scooped sd59 there in that channel and he has too much gain on that lead channel in my book-loses all the body with too much gain and thats how I get away with usin the lead channel 3 for rythm playing and leads.. I am bringin in the mids on the amp and he is comin from downtown at the pickup for mids on his. Interesting indeed. But I also don't get that nasal honk most complain about either.
That stutter button shoulda been blacked out-its sticks out like a turd in a punch bowel bein porno red.
Notice also he must load and slave through an HH for the center dry cab-my guess is for congruency among cabs and super control over blendin the wet and dry cabs volume wise. This would give him total control of how the amp sounds at whatever volume setting then bein able to turn it up or down with the hh's for club gigs like their first gig at the club around new years and goin for higher hh settings for arenas. Thats some total fricken control right there!
Makes complete and total sense and very logical. Eds a fuckin genius not only musically but gear wise as well.
As for the drop to hell tail piece? Damn thats so ugly it would make a train take a dirt road :stars:

I definitely prefer the look of the clear panel above the controls! so ed uses GT's? i thought he used JJ's?

Hehe, what clear panel? :) No panel for easy access to the tubes.

Looks like there's JJ's in some of the other amps. Depending on which GT they are, they could be the same as JJ's.
Judging by the "Hi gain tube" sticker and GT's, they probably try different stuff to improve shit. :)

Plexiglass panel?? Well, if so he is using some plexi at last!!!

Liked that frankie with the wolfgang neck! Wonder what pup is in there? could that be the original body???? Look at the scratches bellow the jackplate... The paint joblooks nailed.... The brdige, pickguard, the MXR knob are new features... interesting...

it's one of the replicas; Ed played it during one of the warm up shows prior to the tour, forgot which but there are pictures of Ed playing it. The heel was also modded to accommodate the neck

EDIT: found them

It is probably Alex's guitar monitor.

He's had those forever ... and I do not recall seeing some with needles.
The V-800 has LED meters; the V-500 and V-200 do not have meters.
