Original Peavey Monitor mag Ed interviews
Anyone have these and be willing to scan them or know where they are on the interwebz? Been trying to ferret them out, nothing came up on eBay and I guess all things EVH were flushed from the Peavey site. Never read them, very curious. I think the first was in '91? Looking for info on the first 5150 and first Wolfie. Any help appreciated!
At it awhile, still learnin'

Re: Original Peavey Monitor mag Ed interviews
I had a couple of them that showed all the products but I dunno if they were monitor mag-they had all products peavey offered guitar wise. Last one was before the split where they were gonna release a 25w head and 1x12's of the PV5150- but of course that never happenated after Ed gave them the big ol finger.
Its the online stuff where PV wiped away so much cool stuff with Eddie and the things they did or were doing.
Ed took his rights to the wolfgang and the sheffield 1200's and split. The wolf continued but the speakers never did which makes me wonder. Even Lukather was given some of these speakers as stage monitors and he commented how fricken amazing he thought they were in another article elsewhere than pv. Nobody realizes the new 6505 cab speakers are totally different than the evh 1200s -baskets and all.
I think the wolf and speakers were Eds best products from them. Never did like the pv 5150s and I really tried to. For a long time.
PV needed someone to keep under their thumb to give them some "pro legitamacy" in the market place and they use players endorsements to appear lime the bigger companies. I like that Ed went with Fender at least this time around-they are already established as a pro or legendary company-Like Ford GM and Chrysler you know? And I think they didn't feel a need to use Ed per sey-but rather garner profits and invest in his legacy even if it doesn't produce a product that screams their name to the masses and is hidden behind the EVH oval Ford like logo. But now the have their trademark "f" on the amps 5150 logo now. Must be wanting to make sure people realize its a fender product more. My 5153 does not have this as its a first year run.
