Super Bowl Chevy Volt Commercial

Did you guys see that ad? They had a shot that was suppose to be woodstock and two big stacks of Marshalls. They even look period correct. I caught at least one error, anyone else?

Ding, Ding, Ding, that is what I saw. I also think that the cabinets looked as they would today rather than 40 years ago.

Ha! Cool.

The closest amp is an old one (polarity switch, black plastic switches, logo, head cab, knobs etc show this) the far one is a reissue.

They need one more stack on "Jimi´s" side, and the bassplayer looks like Noel Redding, but Billy Cox played at Woodstock..
But a good effort, with a Univibe on the floor. And Jimi did´nt wear a hat or a buckskin jacket with fringes at Woodstock.

(And what is this doing in the EVH section...?)

The "KNOB" being turned up is a prop, but you look closely the Marshalls are vintage plexis, but the cabs are vintage checkerboard early seventies, even the coily cables daisy chained  too, looks cool!

We have to admit that Chevy is going to have to really step up their game if they hope to change the general public’s perception of their Volt. Aliens just won’t cut it these days.
