Different clip today, Fender YJM strat from 88', DOD Overdrive/Preamp 250 grey spec clone, Clinch FX EP-Pre. Thiele cab with EV12L. PPIMV off, not cascaded, volume at 1 o'clock. Crazy loud! :)

Another little clip. This time I pulled two power tubes, which made the volume much more manageable, top left bright input, with a cable plugged into the right to disable parallel. Master volume disable. Everything on 10 but bass. EP-Pre between guitar and amp.

You'll hear I don't know this song very good, but you'll get the drift. :)

Sound great!
but the vocals are a bit louder or the guitar is tad too low whoever you wanna see it. How about a version with just the guitar?

Great tone and chops. Can you get those VH tones at low volumes, like conversation levels?

I have to say for the money....... who could argue??? Its a great sounding amp. I think they could have a hot item on their hands for the amp market.
As far as reliability?? This cheap you can buy 2 easy and have a backup. Keep that in mind. But note also nothin is gonna be like a ptp for durability and ease of service-just my 2 cents. So it is what it is and can't be what its not. But hey if it sounds good, and you can rag on it and abuse it with out too much investment worry it sounds like fun to me.

Exactly dirtycooter . I bought it as a fun experiment, and I'm kind of blown away how good it sounds really.
I plan to go over it and hardwire all those internal quick connectors, I think it will make it more sturdy.
Thinking of upgrading the OT as well eventually.

It's really cool when someone around here gets a piece of gear and demos it the right way for all to hear.
great playing too !! ....getting so sick of the bad you tube gear demos.

I guess the total downside and trade off is not the tone, sounds good, but the whole internals, definitely not mod friendly.

I had a 100 watt Lee Jackson Ampeg ( loud but, tonally inferior to this Bugera , kinda of a sterile 80's tone - great live would cut thru the mix -horrible to record with- no character just gain )

and with the lee jackson ampegs literally there were reports of small little campfires starting inside the amp with thier internal quick connectors.

so at least hardwiring the quick connects would seem to make it safer , more road worthy.

It's does the 1984 tone pretty decently. Now I wish I could do Panama decently :)

It actually sounds more 5150-ish/FUCK era. Did you add a harmonizer?
