I'm going to be matching some 2n5457 transistors today for a pedal I'm building for my son's Xmas present!

Anybody have a tube tester ? I've came across a a few old 6ca7's I want see if any match up.

Where did you get the the 2n5457s? I have been looking for those.

You cannot really match tubes with a tube tester. They need to be at full voltage for that.

George has that maxi Matcher... He tell you if they are matched for current draw.

2N5457's are plentiful last time I checked. Let me guess, everyone on the EP Pre train and they're disappearing? :what:
